Frequently Asked Questions
We're a living-room furniture company that researches, develops, manufactures, and sells upholstered seating, and our products are manufactured overseas in Asia. Our design language is simplified American style, built for real living rooms in the US market. If you need specific company or entity details for a warranty or invoice, our customer service team can confirm them for your order.
Our chairs are built for comfort at a mid-range price, and that's where customers say we deliver: most of our recliners average around 4.1 to 4.3 stars across hundreds to thousands of reviews, with comfort, easy assembly, and value for money the most consistent praise. Frames are FSC-certified wood with steel mechanisms, weight capacities run 300 to 350 lbs, and we back every chair with a 1-year warranty. Honest caveat: feedback on sizing and long-term durability is mixed, so check the dimensions before ordering and reach out to us if anything fails.
Our official site is canmov.org. We also sell through our Amazon storefront, which is where most of our recliners, lift chairs, accent chairs, and sofas are listed with full specs and customer reviews.
We focus on living-room seating: power lift recliners, electric power recliners, manual and pushback recliners, massage rocker recliners, swivel accent and barrel chairs (including sets of two), accent chairs with ottomans, reclining loveseats and sofa sets, modular sectionals, plus a small bedroom range with a bed frame and a nightstand.
Yes, our power lift recliners are designed with seniors in mind. A push-button electric motor pushes the whole chair up and forward so you can stand without straining your knees or back, and it reclines smoothly to any position in between. Our lift models use a counter-balanced mechanism with an anti-tipping device, an iron or FSC-certified wood frame, and support up to 350 lbs. Most also include 4- to 8-point massage, lumbar heat, USB charging, and hidden cup holders. The lift moves slowly by design, for stability and safety.
Our massage recliners target the back, lumbar, thighs, and legs with 4 to 8 massage points, 5 modes, 2 intensity levels, and a 15/30/60-minute timer, all from one remote. Lumbar heating runs alongside the massage to help relax the lower back and promote circulation. The heat is warm rather than hot, so there's no burn risk, and the massage motor is noticeable when running.
Start with the connections. Make sure the power cord is fully plugged into both the chair and the wall outlet, and test the outlet with another device. Then check that all electrical connectors between the backrest, seat, and power cord are securely joined, using the assembly manual for connector locations. If your chair leans to one side or an armrest feels loose, that's usually incorrect installation, so re-check the manual and reassemble. Still stuck? Contact us and we'll help.
Sit forward and lean your body forward, then use your heels to press against the middle of the footrest. That's the labor-saving spot in our manuals, and the footrest retracts easily from there. To open it, pull the lever on the side arm, then lean back to push the backrest to your preferred angle.
Yes, most of our chairs need light assembly, and most need no tools at all. Accent and swivel chairs typically take about 10 minutes, usually just attaching the base or sliding the backrest into place. Recliners and lift chairs snap together in a few steps. Larger lift recliners ship in 1 to 3 boxes; the boxes leave our warehouse together but can arrive on different days, so wait until you have all of them before starting.
Every chair comes with a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use from the date of retail purchase. We also provide free exchanges for installation problems, damaged parts, and missing parts. If something's wrong, get in touch with our customer service team and we'll sort out replacement parts or an exchange.
